We're Hiring: Creative Intern
Fall Creative Intern
Birmingham, AL | Hybrid | Fall 2026
Application Deadline: August 10th
Bright & Gray Creative is a Birmingham-based creative studio that does brand strategy, video production, photography, graphic design, social media, and web design, often all for the same client. We're a small, fast-moving team and we don't do generic work.
We have a strong belief that the next generation of creatives deserves more than coffee runs and a seat outside the room where it happens. Our interns do real work, on real clients, from day one. You'll leave with portfolio pieces you're actually proud of, hands-on experience across multiple creative disciplines, and a real understanding of how a creative studio operates. We're invested in teaching you how this work actually gets done, not just watching from the sidelines.
This fall, we're looking for an intern who lives and breathes content. Reels, short-form video, trends, hooks, captions, all of it. If you're the person your friends send trending audio to, you scroll with a strategist's eye, and you get genuinely excited about making content that performs, we want to talk to you.
WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO:
Tag along on content sessions with our production and creative coordinators
Edit and publish Reels and short-form video content for client accounts
Assist with content days: capturing behind-the-scenes footage, b-roll, and photo content across multiple industries
Help plan content calendars and pitch Reel concepts based on trends and platform performance
Create supporting graphics and visual assets for client social media accounts
Sit in on client meetings and be part of real creative conversations
Shadow on photo and video shoots
Pitch in on events and weddings as needed (yes, some Saturdays)
YOU’RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU:
Are fluent in Instagram and TikTok, and can spot a trend before it peaks
Have experience editing short-form video (CapCut, Premiere, or in-app editing)
Are comfortable behind a camera or phone capturing content on the fly
Have a working knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
Can take direction and run with it independently
Are curious about strategy, not just execution
